Farm on the River sits on a beautiful parcel of fertile river bottom land between Skitchewaug Mountain and the banks of the Connecticut River in Springfield, Vermont. The land has a rich agricultural history dating back to early Native American settlements.
The land was planted with Christmas trees in 1982 and the cut-your-own Christmas tree operation will continue for several more seasons. Field by field, the land is currently being transitioned into Certified Organic production for specialty produce.
